He was predeceased by: his parents, William Knoner and Opal Knoner (Dorsey); his wife Janet; his brother Wayne Knoner (Fran); and his niece Kelly Marcum.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin (Carmen) of Ankeny, Kent of Bancroft and Kurt (Jodie) of Algona; his grandchildren, Scottie Henry, Samual Henry (Macey), Chris Lucas (Jackie), Megan Sabin (Mike) and Zach Lucas (Hannah); and his niece Kari McKinney (Jim). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
