It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret G. Sloan (Algona, Iowa), who passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Dittmer and Estella Dittmer (Angus); her sister Mary Ann Rose; and her husband James Maxwell Sloan. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Fortune (Ron) of Humboldt, IA, Jason Sloan (Lara) of San Rafael, CA, Matthew Sloan (Becca) of Grimes, IA and Molly Rodemeyer (Tim) of Emmetsburg, IA.; and her grandchildren, Autumn, Avery, Jessica, Jamie, Olivia, Morgan, Cael, Asa and Shea.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Iowa Donor Network and the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS).
