It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Webster T. Orton (Algona, Iowa), who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Orton and Myrna Orton (Minkler); his siblings, Bulie, Don, Arden and Denis; and his in-laws, Fred and Linda Bentele.
He is survived by: his wife Darline Bentele of Algona; his children, Becky Orton of Algona and Scot Orton (Terri) of Mason City; his grandchildren, Natasha Hunt (Davis) of Ankeny, Jessica Orton of Ames, Anthony Petty, Zach, Dylan, Dalton Orton of Mason City, Ezekiel Petty (Destiny Fingalsen) of Rock Falls, Ivy Harthan (Luke) of Clear Lake, Rylee Petty of Rochester, MN and Wyatt Orton of Plymouth; his great grandchildren, Cyrus and Axel; his brother Knute Orton of Gig Habor, WA; and his sister-in-law Theresa Orton of Adel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
