He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Cook and Denise Cook (Marlow); his father-in-law Larry Dean Evers; and his brother-in-law Larry Dean Evers Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Angela Evers of Algona; his children, Sara Countryman of Algona, Michael Cook of Algona and Joseph Cook of Arnolds Park; his granddaughter Karlie Countryman; and his siblings, Jean Weishaar (Rick) of Algona, Donna Moore (Rick), Chuck Cook (Sara) of Jordan, MN and Jeff Cook (Sarah) of Algona. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bill's name may be sent to his family. The family will then forward a donation to the Algona Raceway to support its ongoing improvements.
