It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Owens of Allerton, Iowa, who passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Owens to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodrick Owens and Magdelena Owens (Pearcy). He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Todden (James) and Debra Wilson (Robert Petersen); his nieces and nephews, Jessica Todden, Meghan Sunga (Jeff), Nicole Wilson (Adam Canty), Zachary Todden (Jenny), Alex Todden and Jacob Wilson (Dasha); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lucas, Jay, Jaxton and Alyssa. He is also survived by 2 great-great nieces, along with other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home-Corydon (303 E Jefferson St, Corydon, IA 50060). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
