He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Marie Stirling (Youngberg) and Dallas Stirling; his brothers, Jerry and Stan Stirling; and his siblings-in-law, Lonna Stirling, Dave Johnson and Jeff Sherburne.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Stirling (Angie Groen) of Allison, Trent Stirling (Jordan) of Allison and Brett Stirling (Marisa) of Allison, Iowa; his grandchildren, Lilly, Lola Stirling, Macy, Molli, Colt, Tate Stirling, Austen, Brody Stirling, Kenzie, Kamri, Kilee, Kori and Kreyton Groen; his siblings, Ted Stirling (Marlene), Vicki Johnson and Kim Sherburne; and his sister-in-law Deb Stirling.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Allison Amvets (718 9th St, Allison, IA 50602).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
