He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kruse and Cena Kruse (Werkman); his wife Marlys Kruse; and his siblings, Emil, Elmer, Eldo, William, Herman and Anna Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Kruse (Kim) and Judith Ackerson (Jack) of Bristow; his grandchildren, Matthew, Kristopher, Amanda, Lisa, Travis and Jamie; his sister Ida Mae Litterer; and his sister-in-law Donna Kruse. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church - Vilmar (16073 Keystone Ave, Greene, IA 50636). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
