She is survived by: her children, Susan Cornforth (Jeffrey) of Waverly and Rich Miller (Karen) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Tyler Bangel-Miller, Azriel Estrada (Laura Asmussen) and Hope Lapp; her great grandchildren, Diego Price, Paxton and Koda Lapp; and her sister Sally West.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (2001 W Bremer Ave, Waverly, IA 50677).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the ACLU or Iowa Public Television.
