She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacobus Hemmen and Esther Hemmen (Meester). She is survived by : her husband Darrel Folkerts; her children, Jeremy Folkerts (Danielle) of Naperville, Dana Folkerts (Tonya) of Des Moines, Jodi Shaffer (Sam) of Shell Rock and Darci Scalf (Ken) of Bondurant; and her grandchildren, Tobias, Abigail, Nathaniel Folkerts, Drew, Coen, Beckett, Arden Folkerts, Liza, Margo, Hazel Shaffer, Crimson and Lex Scalf.

Memorials may be directed to the family. The Folkerts family will send memorials to various charities Noreen supported at a later date.
