With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter J. Aberson of Alton, Iowa, who passed away on June 25, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johan Aberson and Johanna Aberson (Leenhouts); his wife Geraldine "Geri" Angeline Menning; his son-in-law Garry Stallard; his siblings, Anthony (Ethel Aberson), Dena (David Palsma) and Bertha (Norman Eason); and his sister-in-law Rosella Jiskoot.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Aberson (Connie) of Sioux Falls, Rachel (Dave Van Gelder) of Chancellor and Linda Stallard of Tea; his grandchildren, Todd (Ranee Van Gelder), Matt (Anita Van Gelder), Scott (Jenna Aberson), Micah (Jaclyn Aberson) and Joshua (Christie Aberson); his great grandchildren, Isla, Elin, Everett, Sutton, Andie, Collin, Kate, Andrew, Holly, Beau, Samantha, Seth and Stefan; and his brother-in-law Wilmar Jiskoot of George.
