He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Keunen and Lena Keunen (De Vos); his great grandchild Lillian Grace Keunen; his brother Cornie (Alvina Keunen); and his brother-in-law George Van Zyl.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Keunen of Orange City; his children, Arnie (Jeannine Keunen) of Le Mars, Leann (Glenn Evenhuis), Harv (Lori Keunen), Wayne (Sharon Keunen) of Alton and Emalee (Brad De Weerd) of Sioux Center; his grandchildren, Brad Keunen (Adan), Melissa Alcorn (Josh), Jeff Keunen (Cheyene), Kyle Keunen (Jennifer), Jaime Kramer (Jeremy), Tyler Evenhuis (Jessica), Chris Keunen (Carrie), Nick Keunen (Rebecca), Mike Keunen, Shawn Lancaster (Jim), Jodi Van Den (Eric), Brett Keunen (Amber), Andrew Kots (Spring), Jonathon Kots (Amanda) and Cory De Weerd (Jessica); and his sister Nelva Cunningham. He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials will be given to the Orange City Area Home Health and Hospice.
