With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard J. O'Malley (Altoona, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on July 6, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George O'Malley and Grace O'Malley (Johnson); his wives, Lonija O'Malley and Sheryl O'Malley; his daughter Diane O'Malley; his siblings, Patrick O'Malley, Jean Bailey, John O'Malley and Kathy Sopher; and his sisters-in-law, Cathy O'Malley, Aggie O'Malley and Doris O'Malley.

He is survived by: his children, Christine Carlson of Grimes, Linda Rosenboom (Mike) of Altoona and Daniel O'Malley (Jennifer) of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, Griffin Rosenboom (Alyssa), Sydney Jamison (Josh), Grace Farver (Brayden), Taylor Carlson, Jillian and Katelyn O'Malley; his great grandchild Millie (Jamison); his stepsons, Scott Neasham, David Neasham and Dan Gregory; his brothers, Dennis O'Malley, Richard O'Malley, Brian O'Malley, Michael O'Malley and Joe O'Malley (Fran); and his sisters-in-law, Liz O'Malley and Grace O'Malley.
