It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Alice White of Altoona, Iowa, born in Maxwell, Iowa, who passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Miles; her granddaughter Tracie Webb; and her great grandchild Julian Armstrong. She is survived by: her daughters, Lavona Webb (Mick) and Sharon Sherer; her grandchildren, Todd, Dana and Aaron; her great grandchildren, Dawn, Michael, Daniel, Antonio, Dustin and Amanda; and her great great grandchildren, Natalie, Alivia, Alexis and Elliot.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Iles Grandview Funeral Home. A memorial service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
