He is survived by: his siblings, Eugene of Altoona, IA and Kathleen (George) of Plum City, WI; and his stepchildren, Amy Hilgemann (McGrath) of St. Louis, MO, Todd McGrath of Waterloo, IA, David McGrath of Bondurant, IA and Hugh Gardner of Hastings, MN..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hamilton's Altoona Funeral Home (105 4th St SW, Altoona, IA 50009). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bondurant Cemetery (879 2nd St SE, Bondurant, IA 50035).
