He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Bailey and Hazel Bailey; his son David; his daughter-in-law Debbie (Blaine); and his siblings, June, Junior, Chester, Harold, Kenneth, Guy, Gaynard and Roger.

He is survived by: his wife Leona Mae Carpenter; his children, Chris (Judy), Brad (Nancy), Kathy (John), Scott (Patricia), Becky (Mark) and Blaine; and his siblings, Garnett (Lester), Ramona, Kathern (Dick) and Clifford. He is also survived by 20 grandkids; 46 great grandkids.
