He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Rolland Snyder and Eva Fay Snyder (Conner); his siblings, Roy Allen Snyder and Patricia "Patty" Regnier (Snyder); and his cousin Kenneth.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Snyder (Reason); his sister Carol Gilbert; and his sons, Jon Snyder (Kim) and Jerry Snyder (Stephanie). He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren; his 9 great grandchildren; and an abundance of extended family and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Za-Ga-ZIG Shrine (1100 Shriners Pkwy, Altoona, IA 50009).
One of his proud accomplishments was designing, constructing, and donating an A-frame model house that was displayed at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
