The memory of Kathryn Ann Stackhouse of Altoona, Iowa, who passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 57, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, Kathryn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Kathryn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her husband Lou Sipolt Jr. The; her parents, Linda Stackhouse and Dennis Stackhouse; her siblings, Rob Stackhouse (Lesa), Rhonda Reynoldson (Roger) and Kim Vance (Brian); and her pet Kathy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens (121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Terrace Hills Golf Course (8700 NE 46th Ave, Altoona, IA 50009).
