He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hejlik and Vlasta Hejlik (Psotka); his brothers, Gary and Ralph Hejlik, Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Jim McEnany and Larry Best.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Mozack of Altoona; his children, Tom Hejlik (Sue), Barbara Bohman, Kevin Hejlik, Brian Hejlik, Andy Hejlik (Tami) and Chris Hejlik (Ashley); his grandchildren, Stephanie Hejlik, Brandon Bohman, Tucker, Addelynn Hejlik, Taylor, Landon Hejlik, Natalie and Caden Hejlik; his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Maddelyn and Collin; his sisters, Audra McEnany and Mary Best; and his siblings-in-law, Sally Hejlik, Carolyn Hejlik, Larry Mozack (JoAnn) and Randy Mozack. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
