He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hejlik and Vlasta "Flossie" Hejlik (Psotka); his brothers, Gary Hejlik, Kenny Hejlik and Ralph Hejlik Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Best, Jim McEnany and Carolyn Hejlik.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Hejlik (Angie) of Garner, Carrie Naber (Steve) of Des Moines, Jenna Britson (Scott) of Garner, Ashley Hejlik (Lucas Singleton) of Oaxaca and Lucas Hejlik of Okoboji; his grandchildren, Jake Hejlik, Kate Hejlik, Steven Naber II, Isaac Naber, Drew Britson, Sadie Britson and Kyler Britson; his siblings, Audra McEnany of Marion, Dennis Hejlik (Sandy) of Charlotte, Mary Best, Robert Hejlik of Ankeny and Greg Hejlik (Mary) of Bonita Springs, Florida; and his sisters-in-law, Sally Hejlik of Britt and Char Hejlik of Altoona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
