He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Russell Johnson and Twyla Aileen Johnson (Foley); and his sister Diane Herselius. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Johnson; his children, Teresa Shogren (Joe), Todd Johnson and Tina Fincel (Ryan); his grandchildren, Luke Felice, Heather, Harley Fincel, Tanner and Tyler Shogren; his sister Denise Gerdis (Tim); and his aunts, Betty Feldbrugge and Nellie Butler. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be distributed at a later date to the Iowa Veterans Home and Shriners Children's Hospital.
