We bid farewell to Ruth Koedam of Alvord, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 5, 2025 at the age of 78. Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Sieler and Matilda Sieler (Westerwal); her husband Merle Koedam; and her siblings, Linda, Sandra, Tony, Frank, Albert, Raymond and William, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Venus, Heather, Billy, Jason, Joe, Kim, Jennie, Rowena and Dawn; her grandchildren, Quentin, Austin, Sierra, Faith and Addie; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Van Voorst (Arnie) of Inwood, Wes Koedam (Marge) of Alvord, Gloria Bomgaars (Mike) of Inwood and Kenny Koedam (Amy) of Inwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First Christian Reformed Church of Rock Valley.
