He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Franklin and Irene Franklin (Crowley); his wife Barbara Franklin; and his siblings, Loras, Richard, Donald, Harlan, Ronald Franklin and Lorraine Takes.
He is survived by: his children, Deb Hammond (Lonnie) of Dysart, MaryLou Clefisch (Kevin Swanson) of Middle Amana, Sheryl Johannsen (Dan) of Center Point, Iowa and Russ Franklin (Julie) of Dubuque, Iowa. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Raymond's memory may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Colonial Manor, or a charity of the donor's choice.
