She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Johnnie Swank and Nellie Swank; and her siblings, Lloyd, Will, Jim and Dena Proehl.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis (Sally), Marta Anderson (Dan) and Paula Chapman (Doug). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
