It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ali Tabatabai of Ames, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 89, on February 15, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, Amina Sami Tabatabai and Abdul Hussein Al-Tabatabai; and his siblings, Ibrahim, Zakina, Rabab, Saffia and Fakhria.
He is survived by : his wife Louisa (Braal); his children, Fareed (Cara), Layth (Ann) and Janine (Tom); his grandchildren, Justin, Taylor, Nicole (Chris Blythe), Ramsey (Taylor), AJ, Rachel, Jenna, Barron and Zaid; and his brothers, Kasim (Donna) of Austin Texas and Tahir (Rabab) of London, UK. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Iowa State University.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the M. Ali Tabatabai Memorial Scholarship, http://www.foundation.iastate.edu, Iowa State University or the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa where Ali was tenderly treated with respect and dignity.
