Alyce A. Holland Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alyce A. Holland of Ames, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Alyce departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Alyce may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Alyce leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Harrington, and Thelma Harrington, Sr. (Reiter); and her husband Leslie Holland. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen, Daniel and Edwin Holland; and her grandchildren, Thomas Holland and Christopher Holland.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials and donations be made in her name to St. John's by the Campus Episcopal Church or Meals on Wheels.
