He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schwering and Evelyn "Jeri" Schwering. He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn Schwering of Ames; his children, Tim Schwering (Sarah) of Spokane and Amy Moore (Doug) of Ames; and his sister Linda Sackfield of Yuma, Arizona.. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 5:00 PM at 1407 University Blvd, Ames, IA 50011.
