She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph H. McDermott and E. Gertrude McDermott (Johnson); her husband Gene Catus; her daughter Ann Marie Raife; and her siblings, Ernest, James McDermott, Lucille King, Madeline Perkins and Irma Dinville.
She is survived by : her children, David Catus (Jill) of Eden, NSW, Gary Catus of Denver, CO, Judy Garcia of Vancouver, Mary Sue Catus-Wood of Croydon South, Victoria, Bob Catus (Kayleen) of Ames, Glen Catus (Sheri) of Nevada, Christine Stokke (Delayne) of Ames, Brian Catus (Carrie) of Ames, Don Catus (Ann) of Slater and Tom Catus (Jill) of Grimes. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren and thirty-six great-grandchildren.
