She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Alexander (Neil) and Orva B. Alexander (Stanford) of Chariton, Iowa.. She is survived by: her husband R. Dean Phillips of Ames, Iowa; her children, Robert Phillips (Maureen) of Foley, AL and Theresa Malak (Mike) of Middleton, WI; her great grandchildren, Rex Raub and Harper Jellison; her sisters, Helen Alexander of Durham, NC and Elizabeth Alexander (Mark Tushnet) of Washington, DC; her sister-in-law Joan Nielsen (Jeb) of Britt, IA; and her uncle Lorne Alexander (Norma).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Collegiate United Methodist Church (2622 Lincoln Way, Ames, IA 50014).
