She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse Baker and Celia Lewis (Hanna); and her husband Albert Eugene "Gene" Freeman. She is survived by : her daughters, Patricia Works (Russell) of Lexington, Kentucky, Lynn Hempe (Paul) of Eden Prairie, Minnesota and Ann Irvine (Todd) of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; and her sister Geraldine Arbuckle of Lewisburg. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Youth and Shelter Services of Ames or the Alzheimer's Association.
