He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Torgeson and Doris Torgeson (Hendrickson); and his brother-in-law Roger Hudgins. He is survived by: his wife Ida Mae of Ames; his daughters, Dawn Skinner (Paul) of Athens and Sheri Severseike (Jim) of Radcliffe; his grandchildren, Benjamin Skinner of Atlanta, Allison Skinner (Jeff Morris) of Athens, Branden Severseike and Nathan Severseike of Radcliffe; and his siblings, Linda Hudgins of Dunkerton, Kevin Torgeson (Linda) of Radcliffe and Brent Torgeson (Angie) of Story City.
