She is survived by: her children, Roger Roland of Ames, Iowa and Martha Widen (Jeff) of Nevada, Iowa; her grandson Noah Widen of Ames, Iowa; her sister-in-law Shirley Hughes of Panora, Iowa; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Downing of Bondurant, Iowa, Lonnie Whisler (Rose) of Yale, Iowa, Darrell Hughes of Dallas Center, Iowa and Arlone Humphreys (Mark) of Panora, Iowa..
A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 3:00 PM. Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bethesda Lutheran Church (1517 Northwestern Ave, Ames, IA 50010). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ames Municipal Cemetery (310 E 9th St, Ames, IA 50010).
