Donald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ogden and Florence Ogden (Skeers); his wife Dorothy; his siblings, Arthur, Dorothy, James, Ronald and Katherine; and his grandson Russel Peters.
He is survived by: his children, Lois Bartleson of Maxwell, IA, John Ogden (Reva) of Granite City, IL, Paul Ogden (Laura) of Zearing, Earl Ogden (Phyllis Geer) of Huxley and Duane Ogden (Doreen) of Webster City; and his grandchildren, Laura Mayfield, Lisa Bartleson, Lance Bartleson, Christopher, Cody, Tyler, Matt, Rick Peters, Katie Gardner (Trenton) and Joseph Ogden (Morgan). He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Ames American Legion.
