We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Doris Jean Nelton (Ames, Iowa), born in Burlington, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her father Wilbur Hinds; her brother-in-law Eugene Matteson; and also, Quentin, Marjorie Nelton and Robin Nelton.
She is survived by : her husband Charles Nelton; her sons, Robert (Missy) of Ames and Brian (Kelly) of Fort Madison; her grandchildren, Abby Nelton, Allie Miller, Toby Nelton, Logan and Austin Nelton; her sister Ruth Matteson of Donnellson, Iowa; and her brother-in-law Richard Nelton of Des Moines. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Family of Doris Nelton for future charitable contributions.
