With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Edward Nussbaum of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on April 10, 2026 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Nussbaum; and his grandparents, Earl Sr., Helen Nussbaum, Verna LeVear and Reg Sears.
He is survived by: his mother Sandra Nussbaum (LeVear); his siblings, David (Jacque) and Kari; his nephews, Daniel (Hana), Sean and Ryan Nussbaum; and his great-nephew Callan Nussbaum. He is also survived by friends as well as friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the family or to the Urbandale United Church-Christ.
