He was predeceased by : his parents, Marion Augustine and Vera Augustine; his sister Ruth Bainbridge; and his brothers-in-law, Eldon Bainbridge and Joseph Jones.

He is survived by : his children, Amy (Aaron) of Seattle, Wash and Martin (Lisa) of Kansas City; his grandchildren, Andrew, Otto, Seth and Rowan; his sister Janet Ferguson of Pueblo, Colo.; his sisters-in-law, Miriam Kenning (Greg) of Richfield, Minn and Nancy Jones of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and his children, Ed and Gwyn.
