With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Carol Meany of Ames, Iowa, born in Monroe, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 27, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sylvan Frick and Mildred Frick (Buchholtz); her husband Robert K. Meany; and her son David A. Meany. She is survived by : her children, Steven Meany (Sophia) of Frisco, TX, Lisa Meany of The Woodlands, TX and Mary Knee (Chris) of Urbandale, IA. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
