Eleanor leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Eleanor’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Eleanor will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Heun and Frances Heun of Iowa; her husband Earl Barton; and her grandson Patriot Berger. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Berger (Peter) and Sharon Froning (Steven). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service (612 2nd Ave S, Humboldt, IA 50548). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
