Elizabeth touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Carolyn, Barbara and Norman; and her parents, Theo Sands and Anna Sands.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa McDorman, Tim McDorman and Heather Matusiak; and her grandsons, David Matusiak and James Matusiak.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Building Directly Behind Grandon Funeral And (119 Washington Ave, Ames, IA 50010).
