Ethel J. Spear Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel J. Spear of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on August 18, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Donnelly and Florence Donnelly (McCarty); her husband Wayne; her children, Craig and Loretta; her siblings, Dover, Max, Cliff Donnelly and June Donnelly; and her brother-in-law Larry Spear.

She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Spear (Greg Evans) of Jacksonville, Fla.; her granddaughters, Missy Price (Jammie) and Heather Harris; her great grandchildren, Brittany Reimers (Aaron), David Price, Kendra McEwin and Brayden Quinn; her great great grandchildren, Grayson, Isla and Adelia; and her sister-in-law Mary Spear of Ames. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
