He was predeceased by: his parents, David Clark and Jeanette Clark (Duffy); his wife Mary Elizabeth Clark; his stepfather Earl Elliott; his sister Martha Ballantyne; and his brother-in-law Ed Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Boman (Jeff) of Roland and Dave Clark (Missy) of Kansas City, KS; his grandchildren, Chelsea Shimp (Keith), Spencer Steward, Zachary Steward, Noah Steward, MaryBeth Rosen (Jake), Cal Clark, Ruby Leisinger (Cameron), Reed Boman, Jack Boman and Max Boman; his sister Joanne Hansson of Boone; and his sister-in-law Sharon Mikelson (Dan) of Eau Claire, WI. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and many other beloved family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel (1006 6th St, Boone, IA 50036). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (915 12th St, Boone, IA 50036).
