Grace Adel Erickson Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 17, 2023, at the age of 97, Grace Adel Erickson of Ames, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Harry; her parents, Fay Pirie and Hannah Pirie; her siblings, Marjorie Pirie, Lola Buescher, Byron Pirie and Eleanor Pirie; and her son-in-law Jay Carstensen.

She is survived by: her children, Joan McQuiston (Jerry) of Des Moines, Elaine Erickson of Lutsen, MN, Beverly Carstensen of Ames, Jill Rasmussen (Bruce) of Omaha, NE, Bruce Erickson (Kathleen) of Clarks Hill, IN and Julee Erickson of Ankeny; and her sister Marian Samuels of Hayward, CA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren: 13 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Maxwell United Methodist Church or the Maxwell Area Community Center, both in Maxwell, Iowa.
