He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo; his children, Jay Swanson (Lori) of Ames, Rob Swanson (Jessica) of Huxley, Julie Stevens (Aaron) of Waukee and Amy Finn (Patrick) of Glen Ellyn, IL.; his grandchildren, Jack (Lydia), John (Celeste), Jeffrey, Madeline, Reagan, Simone, Elliott Swanson, Luke Stevens, Emma, Henry and Maeve Finn; his great grandchild Eloise Swanson; his brother Ward Swanson (Diane); and his niece Jennifer Parson (Dave Denton) of Denver.
