He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bergkamp and Elizabeth Bergkamp (May). He is survived by: his wife Judy of Ames; his children, James Bergkamp Jr., Jill Trausch (Robert) of Ames, Jerry Bergkamp of Kansas, Judyâ, Gregory Teubert of Gilbert, Lisa Allen (Steve) of Boston, MA and Jane Malecha (Eric) of Lonsdale, MN; and his sister Mary Annuschat of Wichita, KS.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School.
