It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Clifton Parmater of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though James Clifton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Clifton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father James R. Parmater; and his grandparents, Cliffton and Marshalline Lamborn. He is survived by: his mother Janet Lamborn Parmater.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Cornerstone Church (56829 US-30, Ames, IA 50010). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
