It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Clifton Parmater of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though James Clifton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Clifton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his father James R. Parmater; and his grandparents, Cliffton and Marshalline Lamborn. He is survived by: his mother Janet Lamborn Parmater.
