James Cooper Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Cooper of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eugene and Gertrude "Maxine" Cooper (Swenson); and his sister Patricia Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Donna Lynne Ambrose of Ames; his children, Dan Cooper (Susan) of Acton, MA, Mike Cooper (Susan) of Hoffman Estates, IL and Mollie Venglar (James) of Fort Myers, FL; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Collin, Ben, Simon Cooper and Emily Venglar; and his sisters, Sydney Hartman of Story City and Monica Winkowitsch (Darren) of Cedar Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Iowa State University Foundation – Vet Med Diagnostic Lab or the Green Hills Residence Association Employee Appreciation Fund in memory of James.
