He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Kalsem and Cleo Kalsem (Bates); his wife Merlie Kalsem (Foster); and his siblings, Johnny Kalsem, Becky Gator, Marge Muench and Roger Kalsem.
He is survived by: his sons, Jim Kalsem (Shannon) and Bill Kalsem; and his grandson Porter Lee Kalsem.
