He was predeceased by: his parents, Milon Vogel and Tilda Vogel (Salveson); his sisters, Colleen Nelson (John) and Judee Buescher (Dwayne); and his brother-in-law Marv Worrell.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Young of Ames; his siblings, Shirley Worrell, Vicki Anderson and Edward Vogel (Marilyn); and his children, Kireece Grant (Tasha) and Kareema McLeroy (Kerrick). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, colleagues and friends.
In lieu of flowers and customary remembrances, Arlene suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Iowa State Cyclone Club or the Iowa State Wrestling REC , and sent to her attention at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way, Ames, Iowa, 50010.
