It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Nervig of Ames, Iowa, born in Slater, Iowa, who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Nervig and Doris Nervig (Heggem); his sister Doreen Nervig; and his daughter Susan Jean Nervig. He is survived by : his wife Patti Nervig; his sons, Mike Nervig (Amy), Steve Nervig and Dave Nervig; and his grandfather Nate (Raegan Nervig).
