It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny L. Coder (Ames, Iowa), who passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Johnny L. Coder to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Coder; and his parents, Eleanor Codr and Alois Codr. He is survived by: his children, Jodi Palik (Jim), Jackie Petersen (Steve), John Coder (Rachel), Loran Coder (Denise) and Clayton Coder (Laurie); and his sister Joan Petrzilka.

Memorial contribution can be made to St. Cecilia Catholic School.
