It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Eileen Larson of Ames, Iowa, born in Story City, Iowa, who passed away on June 27, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred West and Irene West (Nelson); her grandson Grady Larson; her sister Delores Kyle (Howard); and her brother-in-law Richard Warren.

She is survived by : her husband Bob; her children, Gregory Larson (Kim) of Marion and Renee Brause (Scott) of Ames; her grandchildren, Alyssa Osegard (Cody), Logan Larson (Jacey), Malori Thornton, Sydney Miguel (Nick), Bobby Brause and Abby Brause; and her siblings, Shirley Warren of Ames and Eugene West (Jo Ann) of Ankeny. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joy's name may be directed to the Israel Family Hospice House or Christ Community Church.
